Jonathon was enjoying this little trip, and then Isolde's sister showed up. As soon as he knew it was her he immediately let go of Isolde's hand and tried not to blush. "Uh...Hi. You must be Isolde's sister...Nice to meet you." He said to Camilla, trying not to sound too embarrassed. He started to look around the rest of the room for something to use an excuse to step away from the sisters while they talked. He didn't feel like meeting Isolde's sister like this.

Unfortunately, Jonathon was not really willing to meet with her own sister, but he did give out an awkward introduction which the poor guy already suffered enough for one day. Isolde figured that those Japanese schoolgirls really aspired to be like her sister even if they were not royalty themselves. Um… Oh, I do think one of the girls here really liked how you do your hair. They must be really excited to meet you in person, Camilla.” Isolde would try to break the awkward silence as she held up a conversation with her elder sister. Needless to say, this trip to the store was already one of the most awkward dates ever, but she was willing to have some fun with exploring the shopping district rather than just get cooped up in her elaborate home all day which her siblings actually seem to go about their stroll without any worry even if someone actually recognized them
“Oh it’s nice to meet you too. And yes, I do believe they must like my popular beauty tips if I do say so myself. At any rate, I will just leave you two to your alone time.”
Another student from her school wanted to know how Camilla would have done her hair that way, so the elder sister had to excuse herself and walked away. “I apologize if you felt intimidated by her. It really must feel embarrassing to be around my family like that.” She would speak to him in an apologetic tone and that she certainly didn't want him to feel scared of them anyway. They were nice enough not to scare him away which they didn’t actually act like overprotective siblings for once.

"No...it's fine. I should've just tried to make small talk or something." Jonathon said, chuckling awkwardly and scratching his head. "So...wanna keep going on our date." He said, the word still strange and awkward for him. "If you're done I can just walk you home and we can try again later...either's fine by me." He said, smiling at her with a bit of a blush. "I really like hanging out with you, no matter what we do."

In due time, he'll probably have to warm up to them when given the chance to, but intimidation was probably something that everyone wasn't used to when meeting some of their significant other's family members. In the meantime, she did want to continue the date without having some sort of awkwardness around them though it would always be prevalent no matter what. "We can continue our date. I like hanging out with you very much even if it is awkward..." Despite the apparent awkwardness, she did not really pay any mind to anyone that questioned her tastes in young men, but it was assumed that she never really dated someone of a lower social class than her before. Perhaps she could learn something new from Jonathon every time that they would go out or something which was something that she would be taking quite an interest on his country of origin."I do wish to know what America must be like. Everyone must assume that America must be a land of freedom unlike my own homeland." Assuming that everyone thinks that America was a land of opportunity, her family might visit America if they wanted to and that learning about what typical Americans do was part of every foreigner's dream to achieve. |

"Alright then." Jonathon said, smiling at her, glad she wanted to keep going around with him. He took his hand again and blushed a bit. "Uh...sorry, should I have asked?" He stopped and sighed. "As for America, I really can't tell you much about it. My family moved here when I was pretty young so most of my life has been here. I remember everything being a lot louder and faster. Like everywhere you went was like the bigger cities in Japan. Sorry I'm not the best insight into American life but I never really got to live it." He said as he led her around the shopping district. "Anything else you want to ask me?"

So apparently, he didn't really know much about America since he moved to Japan when he was younger which in that case, she could probably learn more if she flew to America herself. "Oh I suppose I will have to pay America a visit then to appreciate its culture." America was a country that she could definitely visit in the near future or perhaps she could visit other countries that have very famous families. It was certain that the rich and famous families always had so much fame to look upon, but the haughtiness was definitely worrying for those that would consider to make friends with the rich families. In a world where money was everything, her family would certainly care more about the people rather than their own money which they probably didn't really spend much from the treasury no doubt."Um... What would your parents think of me?" Honestly, it was an embarrassing question, but it was the kind of question that many people would ask if their lovers had parents that probably didn't approve of them. Literally some parents never even approved of their girlfriends or boyfriends because they weren't good enough for them.

"I'm sure your family could afford that. My mom always talked about wanting to go back someday but we just could never afford it. Every time we start getting close something comes up and those funds have to go elsewhere. I don't really mind though, I never knew the place so I don't really miss it...I guess." Jonathon muttered. When Isolde mentioned his parents he blushed a bit. "Oh, uh, well, dad works a lot so he isn't around much anymore, so I have no idea what he thinks. My mom would probably like you though, you're nice and such." He paused for a second and then decided to ask back. "What about your parents? How would the Queen and King of Nohr thing of me?"

"That is a relief. Your mother must be kind to everyone regardless of social class. As for my parents, I think my mother is nice to anyone regardless, but my father might not approve.'" One could probably say that dads were always disapproving of people that were not in their circle of friends, but it was probably worth a try to leave a good impression on the parents. After all, parents had a right to be worried that their kid might be dating a psychotic murderer or someone that might harm their child. Some parents probably had no right treat an innocent person who didn't intend to hurt their child as if they were trying to harm them. That alone was probably something that she didn't want that to happen."Lately my father has been mentally ill, so I fear he may be unfit to govern the kingdom for a while. That is why the entire kingdom will probably secure a regent." Poor mental health can probably lead to her father being mentally unstable which it could lead to very difficult complications that the royal family would have to solve themselves. |

"Oh...sorry to hear that..." Jonathon said when she talked about her father. "Have you tried to get him help or anything? I mean...I can't really do much of anything for him, I don't really know anyone in that field." He let out a sigh. "What about your brother? He seems capable, why can't he just step up and start ruling? It's not like he's too long to lead or something..." He said, trying to come up with some sort of a plan. "There's probably some sort of really complex logistics and semantics to it all, isn't there?" He said, stopping outside a store and glancing inside. "See anywhere you want to shop?"

She was asked if she had her father get some medical help from someone that knows how to treat his condition which she responded to the question. "We did have a doctor attempt to treat his condition, but I am certain the prognosis might turn out fine. I do worry about his well-being and I hope he gets better." If the prognosis was good, he might make a full recovery, but her family would have to wait until his mental illness could be healed or it could get worse. Since her father was obviously suffering from his illness, he would ask if her brother was eligible to rule over the country in his place which it could make sense if he can rule while their father was ill and unfit."My brother is fit to rule, but my father has to step down first. As the heir apparent, he can only be crowned king if my father dies or steps down." She probably felt bad for telling Jonathon about this, but this was probably bothering her for quite some time. "I think I do want to see what kind of traditional clothing Japan has to offer." Maybe Japan had some kind of store where they sold traditional Japanese clothing which it would only be good for the Japanese new year. |

"Yeah, there's bound to be something." Jonathon said, looking around him. "As for the traditional Japanese clothing, I know a place." He started to lead her to the clothing stores. "There's quite the choice so you don't need to worry about running out of options. These places have something for any and every occasion basically. I don't really know where to start or what's good around here..." He muttered, not used to clothes shopping, he just got his from cheap places and thrift stores.

Fortunately, Jonathon knew a store that had traditional Japanese clothing which he responded that he never knew any good stores since he always bought his clothes from some cheap thrift store. It was most likely that everyone who didn't really have much of a rich fortune had to make do with thrift stores which probably put her into the group that buys their clothes from expensive stores and nothing else. Still she probably had a lot of clothes that could make even a girl that wasn't born into royalty jealous of their affluence. All that wealth didn't mean anything to her though, it was something that was gained from her status and from the moment that she was born. She probably knew that her own father's mental health had to get better or they would have to resort to having a premature coronation for her older brother.
This store had kimonos and yukata which she assumed that these types of clothing were for special occasions, but they would actually make a good souvenir for when she and her family would return to their country. "I see... I do think the kimonos here look really beautiful." Perhaps her grandparents would know what to do with her father's mental illness especially since it is their own son that was suffering from such a terrible condition. |

"So do you..." Jonathon said without thinking what he was saying. When his brain caught up with his mouth he blushed intensely. "Oh...Uh..." He muttered, trying to hide his embarrassment. "I...I shouldn't have said that...should I. That was sudden of me...I'm sorry Isolde..." He looked around to try and fine something to use to get out of this. "I...I'm sorry."

He was about to say something but stopped before he could get the words out. She wondered if…he was trying to confess his love for her or something which wouldn’t be that far off in that department anyway. Oh don’t be sorry but what were you trying to say?” She had to wonder if he always felt really nervous on a first date, but well the same could be said for her if it was to be believed. Feeling nervous was probably a natural reaction for when romantic dates were involved though she probably loved going out with the person that she cared for the most at that time. While she would be looking at kimonos which the kimonos had very beautiful patterns that were not found anywhere else, this particular clothing store would be a store that she would have to look at on a daily basis.
“If my brother were to suffer the same mental illness, I would not know what to do. For his sake, I probably would rule in his steed though I will face prejudice for being a woman. People will think that a woman ruling a nation is wrong and that they thought I would be considered a weak ruler...” It was probably a good thing that her brother was the eldest after all, but facing prejudice because of her gender was never condoned. In situations like that, it always happened because they probably beloved that the female gender was too weak to take up leadership.

When she made the comment about her ruling Jonathon found his out. "I'm sure you'll you'll your country well. You're kind and brave and noble..." He stopped, not sure if he wanted to keep going with the compliments. The fact that she had asked him to tell her what he was trying to say pushed him though. He let out a sigh and psyched himself up to get ready. "And...and you're beautiful..." He started, taking another deep breath. "And I think I'm falling in love with you." He said, letting it all out.
