Shadow Rising (Shadow Jonathon and Alice)

He took a deep breath as he landed on the other side of the rift and smiled. "Ah, it's good to be home. So much better than that other world. Now to just get that weakling out of my head." The shadow said, chuckling to himself. You can't get away with this...I won't...let...you. The real Jonathon said in his mind. He was getting weak and had to watch his body stab the girl he'd fallen for without being able to stop it. He was a prisoner in his own mind, and what was worse was that someone else was in control of his body and not letting go. "Won't you just shut up. Don't you see that I've won? Maybe if I'd actually killed her then you'd shut up. Plus, now I have a loose end I'll need to go clean up. Eventually, once I'm ready to go back to your world." The shadow looked around, feeling that there was something or someone near, but unable to discern who or what. He didn't care enough to pursue it at this point and just shrugged. Soon he'd be raising an army of shadows to take back to earth with him.

[Alice]

Another Looking Glass had appeared before Alice's eyes. And from the fanciful thing that crossed this world and another came a man that looked around the same age as that girl that Alice had met before. But unlike her, he bore an aura that her eyes easily saw. Yet it was twisted and mangled in a way that spoke of inner turmoil to Alice. This man was not himself nor would he ever be. Not like Alice was Alice. She needed to help him. The seeming little girl drew close to the possessed individual, her own nature clear as day to the one that currently had control.

"Hello."

All dress in blacked with fanciful lace, Alice had worn a simpler dress today and her hair was braided nicely. A white rabbit doll was held in her arms, crossed over her chest. Golden eyes looked up at Jonathon and a dark aura glowed around her, though rather than the tangled and twisted mess that most bore, Alice's was one that portrayed a sense of calm and serenity.

"Alice is Alice."

The shadow paused in surprise at the girl. He looked directly into the girl's eyes, they were the same golden color his now were, but there was something different about her. It was like she wasn't a shadow but still belonged in this world. She said that her name was Alice but that was about it. The shadow scoffed and kept walking. "This is a dangerous place for a little girl you know." The shadow told the girl as it kept walking, looking for some shadows to control. If it's so dangerous we should protect her! Jonathon pleaded out, causing the shadow to wince and put a hand to his eye. "The girl...is now of my concern. My plan has nothing to do with a girl. That, and all I need from you is your body boy. Keep that in mind next time you want to get snappy with me." The shadow said, groaning as he stood back up and shook his head. The sooner the shadow could be rid of the real Jonathon, the sooner he'd be able to continue with his plan.
