Appearance:
Dirty Blonde hair with small specks of brown diced in, crimson red eyes that contrast his blemish-less pale skin and slim but certainly muscular frame certifies Gin's nickname. Being a prince of Kanehira highschool obviously needs to have the looks for it but the personality too, with him always helping out and motivated.
For going out, Gin usually wears something depending on the season. His summer/spring gear are more open with a cardigan stretching across most of his person with a simple yellow T-shirt, blue comfortable jeans and some things like a bangle or studs to go with his get-up while for the winter/autumn: A green raincoat with both his traditional dark beige shirt and black work trousers show some of his fashionable yet practical tastes in clothing.
Colours he uses are ranged from whites, ocean blues, bloody reds, forest greens, sunny yellows to abyssal blacks, He loves to experiment but only within reason.

He's simple yet quirky, Gin has some trouble talking to new people in a simple setting and would rather be alone due to this. He's outgoing, charismatic as well as hard working when working in school, tending to the shrine and/or training.
Due to his grandfather's torturous yet kind upbringing made Gin very tactful and strong willed, showing he's not afraid of the unknown and explores without concern for himself and instead others around him who are considered his friends or partners in crime. He shows a very secretive side and would rather keep needless doubt under the rug until it shows itself, a successful idealist and tactician of war is what he is.
Other than being so great, Gin is always susceptible to earth quakes and hates being off steady ground as it is a trauma. He's not afraid of heights but can seem jumpy when times dew. Loves to tease and make people feel those close to him important rather then focus on himself, though when coming to fighting; Gin has been known to be overly competitive and jolly when beating the crap out of someone that it could be seen as scary. Doesn't focus on the small things but takes everything as one giant picture!
History:
To know Gin, one must know the struggles his family as well as the shrine's pain it took while coming through the years. Before everything with the earthquake, the Kanehira shrine was open and known though out the world for being a dojo with many famous martial artists coming out from it's school of teaching; it first was turned into both a dojo and shrine after WW2 and since on took great stride as one of the strongest Aikido/Taekwondo/Judo school with over around 700 regular members.
The shrine was also a very prominent tourist attraction with it's regular demonstrations to the public and massive hall that many use even today. Three families rule this shrine and all teach one type of martial art: the Fujimoto's focus on Aikido with their family generally known to be traditional and wide in number, quite secluded but always produce geniuses in a certain field. Known to live near the back of the shrine
The Mizushima's are a family that base their strength on Judo and are known to have deep ties into politics other then just martial arts, while being known by the three for having a very modern understanding and always helps another family when having financial needs. They usually live in the right side of the shrine.
Finally the Seimei's are the smallest but the strongest, having only one current heir, Gin, they are known to take extreme fast action and would always help if a disaster struck throughout the town. Other then being well liked by the populous and small, they hold many of the rights to the shrine and houses around it and lives at the centre of it all. Gin's grandmother died several months before the earthquake happened.
During the earthquake, the three families sent most young and old out first down the steps of the shrine, while the current clan heads tried to file the rest out separately to either the evacuation zone inside the sturdy shed or outside the premise entirely. Gin's parents were never heard again after the call to send others inside the shed and whilst they were presumed killed, they were labelled missing instead due to no evidence supporting the claim.
Gin grew up not knowing much about his parents and instead be forced to focus on activities that his own grandfather made up to make him busy all the time. From fetching water from the springs to scrub the dojo's empty hallways once again, Gin didn't mind and instead loved to manage everything by himself. Other families started to hire caretakers due to now slow influx of trainees that were used to clean parts of the houses with Mizushima's authorisation and intelligence made it possible so it wouldn't hurt the shrine in any shape or form. The hiring process was small and didin't need much money due to most of the general populace helping tend to the shrine instead since such a sudden catastrophe happened. Most people decided to turn to god as a result once more.
This meant two things: the shrine will continue to get great business for a time even while the heavy losses to their strength was apparent and lastly this spelled a possible change in the three families. Since with no real head, the two families that were always shut off from possibly owning the land to the shrine has gone and now the families would possibly have ulterior motives (especially Mizushima) which would lead to Gin having to be married to another person to save the family's crisis after the whole business boom start to dissipate.
This forced Kojima to get out of retirement and lead the small family again while bringing his other son as an assistant who'll make Gin a proper heir to the family. Gin was willing and understood the importance, thus bloomed the years of constant pursuit to attain miraculous strength through the use of Taekwondo and Judo while learning all of his needed studies from his willing auntie, his cousin beside him in turn every step of the way. She was clearly smarter but would often neglect her studies, this would make her parents compare her lazy self to the always willing Gin which made her pissed off and leading to her running away one time.
Gin wasn't tasked to find her but in the end decide to look for her in the courtyard, where something changed in his young life. By the age of 15, Gin was met with a white tiger shadow that was square against his cousin who was loosing the fight faster then a gunshot. She after seeing the shocked Gin, forced her to move and protect her little "brother". While stunned and finally noticed by the shadow, it decided to try and seep huge claws into Gin's face but was met by his wounded cousin's back. She barely survived the encounter but was bleeding heavily.
Not noticing his surroundings have changed and clutching onto his now barely alive cousin, Gin begged for someone to save them both until it hit him. The surroundings distorted into what appeared to be a lake and out came a pale man in black armour that stood above Gin who, started to seep into it's waters and slowly drift off to dreamland while only hoping he and his cousin beside him would see another day. Gin awakened with all of three families' gazes on him and while asked what happened, Gin with no knowledge on how that beast appeared just somehow got away with just pertaining the facts of his ignorance but after some talks with his cousin who was safely emitted to the hospital, he got to know of the presence of shadows and their connection to Kanehira.
After getting to know how strong they are at a glance, Gin was happy to take on the roll of the family head even more and while knowing the new power he has within him now. Gin decides to actually attend school instead of being home tutored, the reason is because Gin wants to broaden his knowledge by another level, try to getting to know the other families who sent their own children, increasing his social web and all the while expanding his knowledge about shadows. Grandfather easily accepted the request in turn (leaving out the obvious bit about shadows).
Gin would continue to study from middle-school through to high-school and would be known for his strength, smarts and social side which made him known as a "prince who'll never be on the same level as others". This nickname sported an ugly description on how Gin was presented but dealt with it thought until high-school where his antics were even more known and in turn he started to be known in a more happier light instead of those obviously jealous rumours in middle-school.

Gin keeps all weaponry and armours inside the storage room beside the court garden
Has a dirty mirror at the back of the storage room, does nothing unsurprisingly
Gin's mother made a training ground outside the shrine, in the court garden where Gin still trains regularly and lives within one of the houses beside the shine itself.
For Gin's 18th birthday, he was allowed to take the tests for becoming a Taekwondo 4th dan and had passed it with "flying colours" though hopes to later take future tests. Is much stronger then normal 4th dan.
Wears regular school attire as well as wearing the Studded Backs when attending school.
