"Oh, that makes sense." Samantha mumbled, not elaborating past the knowledge that she had a "Shadow".
She peered at Cerburus, was he really a representative of negative emotions? He was so happy, it was like she was the negative emotions.
"There must be more of us around." She wondered aloud, "We found each other, I can only guess we'll find more people later."

Other people might be Persona Users and with the few people that she met recently, it must have been fate that drove them together. "I believe there should be more people that know about it more than I do. Perhaps they have the answers we seek.” There were some people that she might have not known about that they were Persona Users themselves, but there may be worth investigating for the time being. Perhaps fate had other plans for getting other Persona Users together, so this city could feel safe if they had these supernatural type of superheroes fight for justice. Japan was probably the only place that had rifts like these which made the entire population rightfully paranoid of the recent disappearances. The recent disappearances made it all clear that the rifts were highly dangerous for anyone who didn’t have a Persona to venture into.
“Unfortunately neither my brother or sister can follow me here unless they have knowledge of this world’s Shadows, but Xander does have a divine sword. He might be able to survive without a Persona, but I highly doubt it.” Having a divine weapon probably had its advantages, but Shadows themselves can’t be hurt by them no matter how he tried.

Samantha perked up, "You've met people? Lucky..." She paced, excitingly, before stopping. "This place must some horrible world, like...like...Hell." She mumbled the last part, chest tightening as she imagined standing in such a place, "And Nero and Cerburus must be guardians, to protect us." She couldn't think on why their "guardians" would come out of their shadowy forms, but their was no doubt they protected them in here. "But why would we be put in here?" She growled, "There's nobody here, so what are we and the others even supposed to do!?" Anyone else might be a little excited or even happy to learn they could have some great destiny, but Samantha saw a waste of time, what could possibly be important in here!? personatlg.proboards.com/user/4 |

And Samantha wasn't sure what they were supposed to do at that moment, but Isolde knew what she had to do at this rate. "I am not entirely sure, but I am trying to find someone I cared for dearly as I believe he was possessed by his negative thoughts taken form." She was clearly upset by that point since he was the one that always cared for her through hard times. It was unfortunate that she couldn't understand why he would stab her in the back like that, but she wanted to find out that answer when she would see him again. The last time that she heard something like trying to take over this city using Seth which didn’t really sit well with her and that his own Shadow was the one pulling his strings at that moment. It bothered her that he was still out there, undetected and that he could strike again at any time which she was right to worry about her own family being in danger.
“I wish I could heal those scars of betrayal, but…I must find him or he could strike again. The city may not be safe if he causes more chaos.” Shadow Jonathon’s Persona could be out and about, causing more chaos in the city and that she didn't want that to happen. She could probably try to contact Gin about it and he could take care of this mess before it’s too late.

Somebody lost against his Shadow? Samantha shook briefly, could she have lost? She banished the thought and reached a hand out, unsure how to comfort Isolde. "Um, it's alright, there's probably a way to help him out." She herself had never experienced betrayal or anything similar. Even to her own ears, the words sounded fake. It was certain that Samantha would do anything to try to help with that situation, but trying to find someone that likely escaped in here with no way to find out their exact location was risky. "Your aid will be most effective for finding him. I cannot guarantee how powerful he must be, but we should be on our guard at all times.” If he had escaped to this world to get stronger, it’ll be no easy task as Seth would be one of those Personas that will be difficult to defeat at that moment. She would need some help from other Persona Users who probably knew how to deal with someone who had lost control with their Shadow self and that she wanted to help him break free of the Shadow’s control. It would be possible for her to train a bit more before helping him as he may have gotten stronger by the time she would have her injury healed.
All she could worry about was that Seth would pose a threat to all of the citizens in this city and that this dragon would most likely try to destroy the city as well. “For now, I shall redouble my efforts to train further so I can help him.” There was so much to worry about that she might as well be defending the path to the throne room at that point.

Samantha puffed out a breath confidently, "Come on, he can't be too strong, right?" She looked at where the shadows used to be, "I mean, we just killed those two hands." At this, Cerburus turned one of his heads and whimpered, indicating toward his injured heads. He didn't share her sentiments. This happened so fast, Isolde probably didn't see this, "Oh, fine." Luckily, Samantha agreed to train with them as well which it would give an advantage since two people is probably better than just training by herself. However she noticed that one of Cerberus’s heads was injured which caused her to gasp a little in shock from seeing it whimper like that. "Are you injured? Here, let me heal you…” Isolde addressed the beast as she would give Nero a command to use a healing spell on the three-headed dog as a green healing light seemed to fix the injuries that it sustained during the last battle. She didn’t like seeing something in pain like that as having an injured comrade trying to defeat more foes just didn’t sit well with her at that moment. Defeating someone like Jonathon would most likely cause her to hesitate since this was him she cared about the most.
“Despite having a relatively pampered life, I have felt countless guilt from our ancestors’ bloodstained past. All the atrocities they committed was to instigate war with other countries and as such, my own family was deeply affected by it.” She slowly closed her eyes for a moment as she pondered why her family’s ancestors would do such a thing, but she knew that her siblings were deeply affected by it too.

Cerburus's ears perked as his wounds quickly sewed themselves closed, mouth splitting into a grin and his tails hitting the ground.
"He says thanks." Samantha chuckled, patting him happily on the head. The wound was truly gone, Nero's magic must be fast!
She shrugged dismissively at Isolde's family's past, "Well, you're not bad, at least that seems to be changing." She tried to reassure, just saying what came to mind.

Samantha would try to reassure her and ease her worries which made Isolde feel a little better, but she still had some feelings of lingering guilt going on. "You are right. I should not have to worry about such things, but the thought of it just makes it a burden.” Having unpleasant thoughts had made it difficult for her to concentrate, but this bloodstained past should not be a burden to her entire family. It would have tormented her for years and yet, the pain of having one of your ancestors commit atrocities was still in one of her country’s history books. Having something like that told in a book would probably have everybody believe that the royals were very thirsty for war and perhaps riots will break out. Whatever the case may be, she had to remain strong for both of her family and her own companions.
“I worry that for many generations to come, the country itself may cause discrimination from other people who consider the Nohrians to be purely evil for the sake of conquering other countries. I…have faced some discrimination in the past.” She couldn't remember it for now, but she still had people who simply disliked her family for instigating wars in the ancient past.

Samantha's face twisted in confused anger, "That's stupid!" She spat, "You're pretty nice and I can vouch for that!" The idea of someone being blamed for a past thing was a ridiculous idea to her, having never seen such a thing happen. Of course, this garnered a confused angry reaction from Samantha who said that Isolde was too nice to be blamed for something her ancestors have done. "True. I am fortunate to have the protection of my own retainers in case someone is out for my family’s blood. Political unrest in the Kingdom of Nohr will be the last thing I should be afraid of.” Despite the apparent discrimination that she would face, she still had that optimistic outlook even if hypothetically the world would be at war during times like Shadows attempting to destroy this city using the rifts to get out. She wished that she could change the past that lead to the infamous conquests that the past kings had done in those times, but the damage would be too great for her to handle at that point.
"Still, I would not worry over what happened in the past right now. The present threat is what I shall focus on.” She gave the girl a sad smile though all that fear was still lingering in her own mind as she had to remain focused on the current threat in this world. That and there was a malevolent Shadow she had to hunt down before he could do more damage and descend this city into chaos as well.

Samantha growled before dropping the subject, acknowledging the fact that Isolde was trying her best to deal with her own problems, she didn't need a practical stranger trying to help in such a thing. Cerburus padded over and hovered ominously over her, having heard the conversation and ready to go fighting. "Welp," Samantha drawled, "Let's go hunting!" Cerberus was hearing the conversation though it looked like he wanted to go hunting for more Shadows and that Nero would have to agree. “Praetor, we shall not dwell on such a horrific past and look forward to the future.” Isolde would nod as she followed after Samantha and Cerberus where she had to be on her guard when there were stronger Shadows about. Sooner or later, she would have to face her assailant again and that hopefully, Jonathon would be victorious in destroying the Shadow’s influence once and for all. If he couldn't break free, there would be dire measures that she would have to take soon which it would be even worse if she would be forced to do one of those mercy kills. The Shadows were an even greater threat to mankind and that she must do everything in her power to destroy them.
“I must apologize for placing my own burdens on you. As royalty, I have a solemn duty to protect the city I call home.” Her homeland didn’t have those rifts fortunately, but these rifts might allow Shadows to enter through and terrorize the residents of the city. As chaotic as the prospect of Shadows destroying homes and killing the innocent civilians would be, she couldn't allow it to happen to her own family and friends.

Samantha shrugged nonchalantly, "Eh, it's alright, I got to do something worthwhile today." No fear shone in her eyes, in fact, she looked excited. A jump was in her normally slumped gait and she held Filtiarn excitedly.
